Hi Margaret and Brenda! I LOVE the colors of your site, they're so perky and full of spunk! It's STILL raining in Houston...nine days solid, then the 10th day, we got 18 inches, and it has now rained all weekend. MJ, your site is cute! I am the paternal grandmother of Ethan James Burnett. Ethan was diagnosed with SMA Type 1 shortly after his first Christmas at age 5 and a half months old. I know how your mummy feels MJ , because when i was born about 3 or 4 days after i came out of hospital . I had to go back in because if i didn't my mummy could off lost me . My auntie Gergie came to my nans house in braybrook to see me , when she arrived my auntie Gergie said where is my girl and my said she's a sleep in her cot . So my auntie Gergie went in to my bedroom at my nan's house to see me and she said to my mummy ," Jessie she's doesn't look well at all " and my muummy said to my auntie Gergie " She's fine the doctors said ." Then my auntie Gergie said to my mummy ," No , she's not because her breathing isn't right , she is breathing really heavy " and my mummy said to my auntie Gergie that i'm fine . The next day after my mummy saw me ' BLUE' just laying there in my cot . She was really worried , so she called the ambalnence and they only had 10 minutes to rush me to the Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne and they just made it on time . The doctor's there told my mum that I had a Whole im my heart , My Artries were wrong because my right artrie was facing to the lift and my lift was facing to the right , and i was also born with a heart merma . A heart merma means that my heart beats faster then what it's suppoise too . So from that day on i didn't come out of hospital for a mounth that's how sick i was . From that age of 3 or 4 days old to about 6 or 7 i went to the Royal Childrens hospital in Melbourne every year until i was about 6 or 7 i went every 2 years and since 2001 my doctor told my mum that i have to go there every year now because they have to keep an eye on me because i could get really sick . HI- MJ I got your cool post card on Friday. We have a few inches of snow and some ice. I went to Sunday School and then sat in big church with Mom and Dad this morning.
