Our
son
Max,
15
½
months,
20
lbs.,
has
SMA
which
was
diagnosed
at
9
months.
His
strengths
and
weaknesses
fall
somewhere
between
types
1
and
2.
To
give
you
a
basis
for
comparison
with
your
child
to
decide
if
the
Maxou
Mobile
will
work
for
him/her,
Max
cannot
sit
unsupported,
has
good
arm
and
hand
movement
and
can
lift
his
arms
from
the
shoulder
(though
that
may
not
be
necessary
to
drive),
can
hold
his
head
up
unless
he’s
very
tired,
and
has
no
ventilation
equipment.
He
LOVES
his
Maxou
Mobile
and
we
hope
that
your
child
will
also
enjoy
this
simple
form
of
early
independent
mobility!
