Canine Assistants to Canine Companions for Independence Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs. We're still on the waiting list for a dog for me. We're hoping to get called for training this summer. I can't wait!

B4SMA Our friends MJ & Brenda started this organization to give Blankets to kids with SMA. I got one with fire trucks on it!
FightSMA This is a national organization committed to accelerating a cure for spinal muscular atrophy.
Prevent SMA The Claire Altman Heine Foundation (Prevent SMA) uses its funding to identify carriers of SMA, support population based SMA carrier testing, raise awareness of SMA and educate the public and medical communities about SMA
